Community Service Officer

The San Jose Police Department (SJPD) is now hiring for the position of Community Service Officer (CSO).

Salary

Salary: $77,532.00 – $103,914.72

Duties

Under close supervision, CSO’s assist patrol in the field, performing nonhazardous police functions including, but not limited to, responding to non-emergency calls for service, conducting investigations, and performing other non-enforcement related work.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • 1 year of substantial contact with the general public/community
